Day 9 to Termoli
Happy to be back on the bike in the sunshine, the battered body had vaguely recovered and was sort of ready for action.

It was still misty, chilly and grey up in the hills when we set off but as we headed towards the coast, the sky cleared, yippee

There are 3 eagles in this photo somewhere...
It was a particularly good picnic lunch today and an early finish, so plenty of time to explore Termoli and find a big gelato.

After all that exertion and carbohydrates, a little nap was needed - 1 1/2 hour nap to be precise, oops.
Dinner was a HUGE fish stew which I will now be digesting for some time whilst listening to noisy Italians enjoying Saturday night as noisily as possible.

Cyclist suntan is developing nicely...

Then a wander into town to watch the ritual known as la passeggiata, or the evening stroll. A glass of wine comes with a plate of snacks and rather fabulous people watching experience.
